We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether something you really liked or some new technique that you would like to learn how to do... by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!
If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop. If you came from Nikki of the Timeless Cottage in Hampton, New Brunswick then you are in the right place!
_____________
One of our family tradition for Easter is colouring eggs together and then on the morning before brunch running around the house hunting for chocolate eggs.

I made this card using pattern papers from two different packs. Scaredy Cat (X7185B)  (meant for Halloween) and Confetti Wishes (X7198B)  (meant for Birthday). The colours go perfect together with thistle ink and cardstock. I used Easter Wishes stamp set. (B1422)  and coloured the chick with the ShinHan markers.

The best part of the hunt is the SURPRISE as to what you find.  so I used an adhesive spring (Z1725) behind the chick... to make him wobble in his egg shell.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Krista from Oshawa's blog. If you get lost along the way, you can head to Michelle's blog, as she has the complete blog list.

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way.

And don't forget
Friends don't let friends craft alone.

à bientôt,
Dominique

  1. Who would have thought to combine those two paper packs? They look great together.

  2. Great cute, fun Easter card, I love that stamp set. Great work combining papers....I'm always a little timid to do so.

  3. What a great alternate way to use Scaredy Cat. Love it! And the spring behind your image really makes it "pop" (no pun intended).
